The Sensory Contemplation Cards is a set of 15 cards paired with five different essential oil blends from homework. The intention of the Sensory Contemplation Cards is to challenge the Western cultural dominance of the visual sense through inviting the users to playfully explore their connection to the other senses as taste, touch, smell and sound. It draws inspiration from the fields of design and art as well as nature itself.

The Cards are situated around the five elements in Chinese philosophy and the qualities they are standing for. The set invites for self reflection building up on and including our five senses.

Homework embraces ancient Chinese philosophy by crafting sensory narratives with fragrances that honour heritage, balance, and nature. TCM, is a traditional Chinese health system, that emphasizes holistic well-being over individual ailment treatment. Homework integrates TCM by aligning with the five-element theory, reflected in their essential oil blends representing wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. These elements correspond to specific foods, organs, emotions, guiding treatments for various ailments. Homework exclusively employs high-quality natural essential oils and toxin-free fragrance oils.
